What does "slonech shoo akbarechh" mean?

slonech = how are you
shoo = what
akbarechh = your news

thats a literal translation but when put together basically means hey, how are you.

literal translation: "What color are you, what's your news" but it's just them asking how you are

I heard that the origins of Shlonik (What's your color) are from the pearl diving days, when they would come up from the water. Not sure if its referring to the color of the pearl, or the divers face from holding their breaths.
