a good Japanese restaurant?

asked Jan 11, 2017 in Food by Brown Strawman
Could anyone recommend a decent authentic Japanese restaurant that wouldn't put a crater into the wallet? Some place where I can take the family for their first time at a Japanese place.

I would recommend EDO at the seaview food complex. They have an outdoor seating area and the weather is amazing.

Japanese food is expensive.

First time at a Japanese place then I highly recommend MAKI because they have dishes that are easy to get into sushi because they don't taste like sushi which many newbies find off putting.  Not affordable though.

There's no authentic Japanese restaurant in Kuwait simply because it's inedible for most.

Price wise, they are mostly priced the same. In all cases they have makis and sushis that are priced 2.500 KD and priced at 7.000 KD. It's all about what you're selecting and what the ingredients are.

I think Sakura does all you can eat sushi, not sure if they still do that.

Also there are cheaper options on Talabat, so you might want to look where those places are located (if they have a restaurant)

Whats your interpretation of authentic? EDO and Kei are pretty authentic in my opinion.

Sakura still does all you can eat buffet for lunch on Friday and Saturday. It's not cheap though, I think it's like 16.9 KD a person. Something like that

Sushi Club. They have a 50% discount on all the menu items if you order through talabat. Probably the cheapest sushi in Kuwait right now, and it's pretty high quality.
