How do i contact the camel racing club? And how do i get a tour of the Grand Mosque?

asked Apr 12 in Activities by Yousef Q
Yo yo team how we doing...so i've kind of sneakily lumped two questions into one here...i know i know how could i

Anyway, i've got two mates coming from over from the uk for the weekend and wanted to to take them to the camel racing on saturday and the grand mosque as well....

I know Mark has posted about the kabd races here before but i can't seem to find a number that works for them..basically i know it ends in april but when exactly? Will we catch it this weekend?

Secondly the grand mosque...i know they;re weird with their opening times and not sure if they have any guided tours? If so how do i organise one (other than aware as theirs is too early)

Thanks guys any help would be appreciated

i don't think they have a phone number, it's a pretty bare ass race track, no reception desk or anything of the sort.

so i just turn up and if there's a race there's a race? no dates for the start and end of the season?

would you recommended giving it a shot?

when i visited back in 2013 races were held every Saturday from 2:30pm between October and April. Not sure if that still applies today, but I assume it does.
