Is your car more likely to get passed at the 'Dhaman' centers than the regular MOI muroor inspection?

Apart from the usual muroor/vehicle inspection, there are these licensed Dhaman or 'VIP' centers to get vehicles passed after hours. I know I have to pay 10kd extra there - but is it more likely my car gets passed?

Asking because my (perfectly mint, accident free) car has 20% tint, but the instrument that measures tint at the inspection was showing more than the allowed 30% last year, so had to use some vitamin W and return in a couple of days to get it passed.

This time, I'd rather pay the extra 10 kd and get my vehicle passed in the first go.

I have been to one of those centers. Although convenient and less time consuming, they do more tests on the car.  They have special electronic equipment to gauge tires, balance , etc. on the other hand the Muroor officer will give your car a look and sign, especially if your car a new model and not a mid range sports car.

Go to one of those places and ask nicely.  Everything is possible with a little tip.  I've renewed my car 2 years in a row without even going or taking the car.  I would give my local mechanic down the street the dafter and within a couple of hours he's knocking on my door and delivering my renewed dafter.

If their instrument is measuring tint over 30% then go back to the place u installed it at, if they told you it was 20% they were most likely lying.

Went to the regular muroor, the dude didn't even get up from his chair and passed the car while chatting with me.
