Buy a Kindle and read good books. The classics.

If you're 17 and like most people, then you're probably going to university in a couple of months. It's really important you don't jump into the first major you get accepted into.

I would say try and learn as much as you can about the different majors and the jobs you would expect to land after graduating. Then look at what you like and are passionate about and try to match them together. Easier said than done, I know. Good luck :)

Another thing I would suggest is downloading an app called "Blinkist". Blinkist is an app that has tons and tons of nonfiction book summaries by professionals. So instead of spending your summer finishing 10 books (assuming you read a lot), you'll end up getting the gist of 100 books.

Unfortunately there's a subscription fee of around 60$. Definitely worth every cent.

Bowling, movies, malls, video games, hang out with friends, you know, the typical teen stuff. If you want a more creative answer then could I suggest possibly picking up an activity of some sort, whether its learning to play the piano or programming. If your about to go to college soon then I guess try to improve you CV. By volunteering (KACCH or Kpath), getting a job or internship.

be a tourist for a few months and visit local museums (the tariq bin rajab one is nice) maybe set up a tour of the mirror house, take an art class, etc

All the above + Jet skiing/water sports, soap football, running/jogging to be in shape, buy a complex lego technic set and build it.
