Any updates to the Postal service ?

asked Jun 7, 2017 in Other by Tim
I remember reading an article here regarding an update to the Postal service and that the new office for pickup of packages from US would be faiha ? I can't find it anymore. Anyways, I ordered something of $350 value from eBay and it was shipped via USPS registered mail priority international. The tracker says it is in Kuwait but when i call Faiha, they say they don't have it. Contacted the shipper and he says they might have "lost it in transit" any idea what I should do ?

I've just returned from Hateen and Kaifan - all packages (tracking no. starting with CP) will go to Sideeq Post Office (close to Hateen) - however if you go to Kaifan or call them, they should be able to track it. If it is not on their tracking system, the package is not in Kuwait.

Ok so after reading your comment I went to kaifan hoping they'll track it for me. My tracking number starts with LK. Without entering it into the computer the lady behind the counter said that it'll be in Hawally post office (even though i insisted on her to check it in the computer, but nope, she said she's pretty sure it's in Hawally.) Now which Post office covers Hawally ? Didn't have enough time to find out as I had to get back to work. Any ideas ?

I went to Beirut street . They said that they don't have it and asked me to wait for it. It has been 2 months and the tracker says that it's in Kuwait yet they ask me to wait for it.
