Are there any legitimate US credit cards that you can get while not being a resident or citizen of the US?

yes, i have a wells fargo credit card but you have to open the account while in the states. you can't do it online.

I wish I was going, but Im not. Didn't you do change your address to USA with a bank in kuwait?  Does that still work?  Will it work on sites that only allow US credit cards?

I changed my address but that doesn't make the card US based, it would still be a Kuwait issued credit card.

I googled that, and best I can tell they are all scams and rape you in the ass on the costs and fees.
