Electronics ban on flights to the US and U.K. - Has anyone traveled recently to these locations? Do they not allow laptops and digital cameras at all in your carry-on?

UK you're fine, the US you can't have anything on you except for your phone. Check the airlines website for more details.

It depends on the airlines and your route (where you're traveling from).
I also read somewhere that phones above a certain size aren't allowed, but you have to double check each airline individually.

its a stupid rule...

they don't allow you to carry on your laptop but its ok to check it in.

they them self made the rule that lithium battery is not safe to be in a checked in bag.

if they are worried about bomb they should just say laptop is not allowed at all.

i went to the USA on May with Qatar Airways

You can't Carry a laptop , you can hand it to them at Qatar airport and they will give it back at the airport in the USA

Qatar Airways said i can carry my Nexus 6 phone with no problem
