It depends on floor and block.  But trust me its not a good place to live.  Construction has been ongoing for years with constant noise, pollution, and tens of workers everywhere all the time in elevators and hallways.  Also very dangerous building if you have young kids because of all the exposed wiring and other crazy hazards due to construction.  Worst of all they make you feel like you are paying 200KD for rent when you call and complain about anything, and nothing ever gets done.  Lived there for exactly 12months, and couldn't be happier to leave.  I've heard from old tenants that it used to be Trump Tower back in the 80's and 90's, but its lost every last bit of its glory.  STEER CLEAR!

A few years ago I was looking for an apartment, and asked for their prices. As mentioned in the other answers, it basically depends on your floor and your VIEW. At that time the lowest and worst view started at 1000 KD going up to 1500+ for higher floors with better views.

The building is still under development, which has been for YEARS. It is turning into a nice building with restaurants opening inside the court of the building and the apartments have much better finishing than the older ones, but the problem is things already brake in the NEW finishing according to a tenant I know.

Is it worth it? NO. For a 3 bedroom duplex going for 1500 KD it is very small and with low ceilings. I wouldn't even call it a duplex, it's more like half a duplex or mini duplex. Location wise, it's only practical if you work in Salmiya. There's only one exit and if that road is blocked you're fucked. Amazing views? Yes (if you pay for one).

Ok, i have lived there for 15 years, my mom still does. It was the best. High quality finishing. Wonderful community.

I don't know why they did it, but they took 10 years and still aren't done with renevotations the apts have horrible finishing, they broke up the marble flooring and put something that is very cheap it's sad. Now rents start from 1000 and go up to 1650 for floors 1 - 4 blocks 123

Block 2 for best view

Now u pay extra for parking maybe 100 a year, it's horrible but I don't recommend the place anymore, it has the best location in Kuwait for view but after the new renovations, you'd think they were renovating a building that has very low value and is in the middle of a congested area.

The only thing it has going for it is location and view.

Also the elevators are always humid. It's been like that for 10 or 15 years.   And the receptions smell so bad I don't know what leaked but they try to hide it with some freshener and the mix turns out sickening

What they did to the building is so sad.

Is it worth the rent or all the troubles.. I don't know, I don't think so, I have left, my mother is still attached but is leaving as well because it has become ridiculous. They need to 're renovate all of the apts. And building. And elevators .

Fthere are other newer sea view apt buildings for the same price along the gulf road, a few of the tenants went tot he building near Sultan and the cliffs I think.

The penthouses area different

Several friends live there and they all say it is horrible. Been there several times and I fully agree, it's a glorified dump/slum!

The side receptions, the elevators  the apts finishing. They managed to decrease the balcony sizes. There are already leaks all over the place .   The shops are fine.   And some ladies feed stray cats that creep all over the outsideparking

Nothing wrong with the cats.  They are the nicest thing about that shitty building.  And those ladies have the biggest heart and a guarenteed spot in heaven, so go suck a lemon.

the cats are horrible and the ladies inconsiderate, they can go feed strays somewhere else not next to peoples cars. if you find them so wonderful please feel free to take them into your own home and keep them there, nobody wants them besides those two wonderful ladies.

Already mentioned plenty, but will add my voice.  Its a fucking dump now, and I’ve lived there since 1986.  It was truly a wonderful place and was very well maintained.  Then the Marzouk family lost control and a real estate company bought the place and turned it into a true shithole.  They decided to renovate something that needed no renovation, they took 10+ years to do it and still not done, and they basically finished KD1600 apartments like you would a KD250 apartment in Hawalli.  THEY DESTROYED THE PLACE.  Workers everywhere, sounds, noize, fumes, paint, exposed wires, for years and years and years and still goes on.  ITS A SHITHOLE!!

This is hilarious.  That nasty ugly monstrosity is nominated for best building of 2018.  Please show them some “love” and leave appropriate comments.
