Received a violation ticket last month - it's still not showing on the MOI violation payment website - what to do?

asked Sep 17, 2017 in Automotive by anonymous
I received a traffic violation ticket last month of KD 10 (still don't know what was it for exactly since it is not written clearly on the ticket and the cop was in no mood to explain)

I was told that i can pay through the MOI traffic violations website - however when i checked using my Civil ID number, it's still not updated

What should I do since i intend to travel soon and do not wish to find out that i have a travel ban when i reach the airport

Check on the day you travel, if it isn't there, fly out without a problem. If it's there, pay online.

Wait for it to show up and pay.

traffic fines won't get you a travel ban, i've traveled with traffic violations (speeding ones). only time i was stopped from traveling was because of a court case related fine. even then i was able to pay that fine at the ministry of justice branch at the airport. so if you're really paranoid just get to the airport early enough so that if u do have a travel ban u can get it sorted at the ministry of justice at the airport.
