Recieved a defective laptop from Amazon usa

Hello ,

I recieved a defective laptop from Amazon USA today ..I have requested for a return and Amazon states that I need to ship the laptop to USA myself. .Can anyone guide me here how to do so ?? Any help will be greatly appreciated ..

you need to use a shipping provider like aramex, dhl, fedex etc.. aramex probably cheapest option

Thank you, Mark ..I spoke to the shipping providers..They mentioned that they cannot ship the product back to the U.S as it contains Lithium batteries ...

Hopefully, I have learnt a lesson and I will not order any expensive stuff from Amazon again :(

call up ups fedex etc office in kuwait... mention you would like to ship something with weight x and dimentions x y and assk for how much it will cost you, mention where to ship address.. if ok ..also mention it is a laptop with batterry and all.. they will give you the cost.... and you can visit them and sent it...

Thank you ..The shipping providers have refused to ship the product with the laptop battery :(.

Do you have any updates?  I’m thinking of ordering a MacBook from Amazon and now I don’t know if I should.

If you can describe what you mean by defect,it can be more helpful.Anyway depending on , like if it is dell you can just check with the local service provider to fix it since normally they have a international warranty.Same with HP. other brands not sure.. you can check with any dubai based company....

also you could ship it without the battery...

normally you could approcach or call the support of the brand you brought and they will advice
after checking what is defective and suggest to sent it across or you could have it fixed locally...
